Labels are a powerful feature available in Worklists that act as customizable filters, allowing you to quickly sort and review tasks across your project. In simple terms, Labels are filters you create to categorise and group tasks visually.
Once you have created and assigned labels, such as #ClientName, #CampaignName, or #Video, you can use them to focus your view:
- View All Labels: On the main page of your desired Worklist, click on the Labels option (located towards the right hand side of the worklist name).
- Select Filter: All the labels you have created will be displayed in a brick view.
- Apply Filter: Click on a specific label (e.g., #ClientA). Immediately, all the tasks assigned with that label, regardless of their current task status, will be displayed.
- Multi-Select: For a better understanding of Task Categories, you can also click on multiple labels at once to view tasks that have all of the selected labels.
- How it works: Once you select the first label for e.g., #ClientA, all the other labels linked to this will show active as a darker shade. Select a second label for e.g., #SocialMedia. Now all tasks satisfying both criteria will be displayed.
- Why use this: This is particularly useful to drill down and focus on types of Tasks, for example, If the need of the hour is to focus on all video related work being done for ClientA, where the release channel is Instagram, filtering on these labels would help identify the tasks that need immediate attention – ClientA, Video, Instagram
Clear all the filters and return to the full view by clicking the “X” on the Labels Filter.
